Trends are like rivers in that they are constantly changing course. When we started in the late 80s, black onyx was the best-selling stone by far, accounting for at least 60% of stone sales in that era. Now black onyx comprises less than 1% of stone sales.
In a country now essentially devoid of any tangible unifying cultural values, we see mega trends, often inspired by what a particular pop culture icon is wearing, which is most often a transitory trend; mini trends, which often reflect specific regional tastes; and micro trends, which reflect a particular shop owner's tastes or their customer's particular tastes.
We currently carry products that cater to several of these trends. If you would like some recommendations, please let us know. Also, as stated in the FAQ, we are open to your suggestions. We also carry many basic items, which, although not flashy, are impervious to the whimsicality of fashion.
